The shape and proportions of the Earth System cannot be captured through photography. With an abstract representation in scrap metall, I wish to convey the sphere which is our home, as ancestral. The photo above, taken in my living room, helps to remind me that we are part of something larger than us, where much is alive, happens in cycles, that all life and life support systems are interconnected and interdependent. 

 

We are more connected to particles 10 000 km above, at the bottom of the ocean and the opposite side of the planet, than the stony substance 1km below our feet.​

A few words of caution: thoughts of interconnectedness can coexist with ideas and acts of resistance. This is well needed with regards to, e.g., Autocracy Inc.. Please, do not turn into a spiritual doormat!
